Every town here has its own watering days, and the cut has to work with them. Pick your city for local days and scheduling.

- Modesto: three watering days April through October, two in winter, never on a Monday
- Salida: on Modesto water, so Modesto's days apply; sandy loam that dries out fast
- Riverbank: three summer days, never on a Monday, no watering from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Ceres: two watering days all year, never between noon and 7 p.m.
- Turlock: two watering days March through October, one in winter
- Del Rio: acre lots on well and septic, priced for the ground in front of us
