Palmstone Landscaping
Palmstone Landscaping works yards across Salida and 95368 — the older grid blocks around Broadway and Salida Boulevard, and the newer subdivisions pushing north toward Ladd Road and out along Kiernan Avenue. Salida has stayed its own community rather than part of Modesto, and it plans that way. Free walk-through of your yard, and a price before anything starts.
One thing catches people out here. Salida is unincorporated, but the water comes from the City of Modesto, so Modesto's watering rules apply. Salida is not one of the outlying systems Modesto keeps on two days a week, which points to the main schedule: three days a week April through October, two from November through March, never between noon and 7 p.m. and never on a Monday. No city page names Salida by address, though, so it is worth one call to Modesto's utility line on 209-577-5395 to confirm the days on your account before you build a timer around them. Sewer is separate, run by the Salida Sanitary District.
Lawn Care
Mowing, edging, feeding and weed control from $49 a visit. Sandy loam out here dries quicker than the clay in parts of Modesto, so we mow high through summer and let the turf shade its own roots.
Yard Cleanups

Concrete
Driveways, walkways, RV pads and patios. In unincorporated Salida a driveway or sidewalk pour is exempt from a county building permit while a patio cover is not — we will tell you which one you are actually asking for.
Irrigation systems installation
New sprinkler and drip lines. Because Modesto bills the water here, the schedule your timer has to respect is Modesto's — and drip is allowed every day under it, which is the argument for putting beds and borders on drip.
Natural Sod
Fresh-cut sod over graded, amended ground. We check what is actually under the lawn area before we grade rather than after, because that is what decides whether sod roots in or just sits there.
Sprinklers repair
