Palmstone Landscaping works yards across Del Rio — the country club streets off Del Rio Drive and Oakmont, and the acre-and-up parcels between McHenry, Ladd and Carver. Free walk-through of your yard, and a price before anything starts.
Del Rio is split on water. Some homes sit on City of Modesto meters, and Modesto keeps its Del Rio system on a two-day schedule: odd addresses Wednesday and Sunday, even addresses Tuesday and Saturday. The rest are on private wells, which the city's schedule does not bind, though Modesto asks well owners to follow it too. Which side you are on changes how a system should be built: groundwater around here can run hard and mineral-heavy, so heads and valves take a beating. Much of the community is on septic as well, and the leach field decides where a lawn, a trench or a slab can go.
Lawn Care
Mowing, edging, feeding and weed control from $49 a visit. Lots run big out here — an acre minimum on well-and-septic parcels — so we price the ground in front of us rather than a standard city yard.
Yard Cleanups
Weeds along the fence line, leaf drop, growth along the river side, side yards nobody has touched since fall — cut back, cleared and hauled off. Acre lots are normal here, not a surcharge.
Concrete
Driveways, walkways, RV pads and patios. On a septic parcel the leach field decides where a slab can go, so we locate it before anything gets formed or a truck comes down the drive.
Irrigation systems installation
New sprinkler and drip lines designed for the lot you actually have. On well water we plan around hard, mineral-heavy supply — filtration, head choice and flush points — because that is what decides how long the system lasts out here.
Natural Sod
Fresh-cut sod over graded, amended ground. Most of Del Rio is fast-draining sandy loam and loamy sand; down on the river flats some ground drains poorly instead, so the prep changes with where on the property you are standing.
Sprinklers repair
Snapped heads, cracked laterals, valves that will not shut off, and heads crusted shut by hard well water. Free estimate before anything gets dug up.
Yard drainage
Del Rio streets drain into dry wells rather than a piped storm system, so where your water goes is yours to solve. Regrading, French drains, and keeping runoff clear of both the slab and the leach field.
Artificial Turf
Turf earns its keep where grass gives up — deep shade, dog runs, the strip beside the driveway. On a private well it also takes the single biggest draw off your pump.
